Supporting Students, together.
Ongoing counselling for students who would benefit from support beyond the school environment.
Schools play an invaluable role in supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing. While many students benefit from the support available within the school setting, others need ongoing counselling where they can receive regular, individual support over time.
I specialise in working with teenagers and young adults, partnering with schools to provide compassionate, evidence-informed counselling that complements the incredible work already happening within your wellbeing team.

Working Together to Support Students
I am Jes, founder of Journey with Jes and I specialise in working with teenagers, helping them navigate the emotional, social and developmental challenges that can affect their wellbeing, relationships and learning. Whether a student is experiencing anxiety, depression, panic attacks, friendship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, neurodivergence, grief or family stress, counselling provides a consistent space to explore what’s happening and develop practical strategies over time.
With parent and student consent, I’m happy to work collaboratively with your wellbeing team, parents, GPs and other health professionals where appropriate. My goal is always to complement the valuable work already happening within your school, ensuring students receive consistent support across the people who care most about their wellbeing.

Referring a Student is easy.
I understand the never ending load you have, so the process is simple.
Step 1
Speak with the student’s parent or carer and discuss whether external counselling may be beneficial.
Step 2
Share my website or contact details so they can learn more about my approach and book an appointment directly.
That is it.. I’ll do the rest.
I’ll guide the family through the intake process and organise appointments.
With consent from the parent and student, I’m happy to communicate with your wellbeing team where appropriate to help support the student’s care.
